I have a last minute visit the weekend we planned to meet, so I won't be able to make it.

Would you like to postpone or perhaps try to meet up late August and see if more people can join us?

I wasn't going to go [to the north side] because I got overseas family visiting at the time. Also I haven't been arranging any Chicago meetups in 2017 because I've been otherwise occupied. However, we could do a meetup at my place (ERE HQ, SW Chicago burbs (pink line)) in late Aug as long as I don't have to put in much effort.

Any individuals wanting to visit or drop by while in town are [generally] always welcome given some heads up/fair warning.

Slim possibility I'll be in the Rkfd area in late Aug, more likely it'll be mid-Sept. then again in early Oct. If I am there in late Aug and a meet up emerges, I'll look at heading over that way. At best it would be sort of a "drive by". If I am up there in late Aug, job 1 will be staging for a trip to Minnesota ahead of Labor Day weekend.

Late August works for me too. Do you guys prefer to meet during the week (say a Thursday) or during the weekends?

We could set a date now to save the date.

My husband and I would be interested in going, as long as we can bring our 6 month old. Also, is it okay if I'm more of the Mustachian-lite variety than hardcore ERE? Weekends are best for our schedule as we are still shackled to the working world.

I can do either a Thursday evening or a weekend in August--whatever works for most is fine by me!

I'm out of town Aug 28 - Sept 6, but am free before or after that!

I'm currently/still taking care of our recovering dog (I basically can't leave the room much), so we can't have the meetup at our [usual] place. It's also unlikely that I will be able to attend elsewhere. So someone else will have to take the lead on this meetup and decide a time/place.
