Ok, so it's really a Christian song, but many of the lyrics fit in well with ERE.

Some of the best parts of Christianity are anti-consumerist -- then again, there are the modern "prosperity" theologists and devotees of Supply Side Jesus.
On the other hand, Pope Francis recently told a group that "Careerism is leprosy." Gotta like that.
I like this one -- and the fact that people argue about whether its Christian or anti-Christian. Shows the brilliance of the writer and univeral nature of the sentiment: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-GugzLSbOQE

I like Bluegrass and some Country:

Hank does a good job there of poking fun at the "American Dream" as defined these days.
Also, this is a really good one that contrasts the modern busy City / Wall-street lifestyle with an idealized Country / Backwoods lifestyle that would be fare more self-reliant and anti-fragile (though perhaps a bit mythological):

Spiritual Beggars - Freedom Song

A man of simple visions
I don't ask for much
Just need my freedom
And to not live on my knees

I'm a hard lot to beat
I get back, back on my feet
Life's too short, way too short
To lose my integrity

I pity the fool
That lives by their rules
The wheel keeps turning
On and on, into my place

Let it be known
I'm a free man
Singing my
Freedom song

My truth is in my heart
Never lost track of who I am
No corporative
Caught up in the money game

I pity the fool
That lives by their rules
The wheel keeps turning
On and on, into my place

Let it be known
I'm a free man
Singing my
Freedom song
