Well, oddly enough, I wanted to go into nursing because I love rib's. The kind you eat. I am a BBQ rib groupie. So I thought travel nursing would get me out and about. Also, all my children will be out of the house. I did also need another career, since my career was marriage, and that ended in divorce.
School will be done in 15 months. I enjoy school, but when I work on my clinical rotations, I know I'm home. I love the environment, the people, the job.
As for NC, I live in a very old town 300 years old, New Bern. The population is around 30 grand. It's right on two rivers. Very nice place, not too expensive, and pretty temperate.
And jzt83, you are so right. Now is the time. I did really hesitate when we got rid of the car. Having a car for more that 30 years and then not to have one was kind of scary.
