$40 for a preowned Kindle keyboard 3g...
Get the Check for Change Firefox extension (very useful), or Page Monitor Chrome. Select text "currently sold out" then right click and Check for Change.
They will periodically go back in stock as BestBuys across US inventory them... I got 3 for gifts at using this method at this price last week. All were 3g without ads. I got Conditions 4,5,6. The 6 looks new after cleaning. 4 has a few dings but nothing really distracting when reading. 5 somewhere in between.
Really looking forward to giving these out as gifts. :)

For the outdoorsy types, steepandcheap.com has huge discounts. It's a bit hard to track the site as far as I can tell, so it's a challenge to your self-control, if you're tempted, to check it regularly. Or you can use http://www.gearscan.com/steepandcheap. Items are usually on clearance elsewhere, at a smaller discount, if steep and cheap is featuring them.
Honestly deal-shopping tires me out and I get tired of the fact that outdoor retailers have pretty much turned into clothing shops, but I do know people who have gotten equipment they really like from there.

Personalized playing cards for only $5

http://www.yorkphoto.com/Content.aspx?P ... 379be6bd58
I'm normally not into the personalized, super-cute stuff, but I think these could be a fun gift. I'm going to do these for my kids to use for exchanging with their friends. I'm also considering using the worst picture I have of all of my family members and using them for a gift set. (maybe then they'll finally agree to stop exchanging with me :)
@sheepstache, Cool, I did it too. Seemed like a really good deal.

That bike looks real good. One random guy on a forum said he was able to get a customer service rep to retroactively apply a 20% off coupon and free shipping on top of that. Too bad I already have a bike that I don't ride as much as I'd like, so I can't really justify this.

Refurbed Kindle 2 $30 shipped:

The price is right, but the K2 devices have noticeably less contrast than the new ones. And are also significantly larger... Still very adequate reader.

GREAT umbrella-style drying rack. I use it inside and outside. I've had 10 pairs of jeans hanging on it and it holds the weight and doesn't tip. Only $36 right now at Amazon!

http://tinyurl.com/a6dtsqb
I also use this drying rack. I like that the individual tubes are larger so they don't leave marks/lines on the clothes. It doesn't hold as much as the rack above, but it's a nice complement to it for smaller items like socks and undergarments. It's also on sale at Amazon (although I can't imagine why it was originally over $100).

For the homeschoolers or non-traditional schoolers...
The Kindle version of the original 6-volume set of Charlotte Mason's homeschooling series is only $.99!

I think Charlotte Mason is also great for parents of young children, even if you plan to use traditional schooling. This series and The Well-Trained Mind are my two favorite resources for early and elementary education.
