Ergonomic mouse

Cured the beginnings of my ulnar neuropathy - no more wrist/arm pain, yay!
This is my favorite Amazon filler to get free shipping (before I got Prime).

And this battery tester

:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0031B ... 00_details
Tests pretty much any battery I'd ever use at least. I hate finding a random AA battery and not knowing if I should throw it away or not. Even the ones that are mostly dead, if they have any life left, I will keep. I specifically set them aside for my little battery operated radio. That device seems to be able to best use "almost dead" batteries, while other devices seem to need at least some charge.
I guess the ultimate ERE strategy is to buy rechargeable batteries of course... I heard Eneloop batteries were better than most.

@livinlite
Check out ultagauge for a MPG tool. Its much cheaper than a scangauge and gives instantaneous readout. Not as cheap as ones that connect to a PC/Laptop, but more convenient. Works with all OBD-II vehicles.
If you wann get mileage out of your vehicle... check out the ecomodder forums. Also, this page from them is of great use:

I know these have been discussed before:

http://www.amazon.com/Cuisinart-GTF-Gol ... slicinc-20
Cheapest they've been... I still prefer a french press, however (no plastic).

Groove IP now has a free lite version (no 3g, which is fine for our purposes)

https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... s.grooveip
Free US phone service over any wifi without complex VOIP/SIP... All you need is an Android phone. Which can be had very cheap. IE: PM if you want a Samsung android phone that will work with this, yours for $20.

20% off an Amazon grocery order up to $100 - MAR20OFF - now through the end of March.
Might need the Amazon credit card. It overrides the 15% subscribe and save discount, but you can still get the free subscribe and save shipping on top of it.

Don't be fooled by the 20% off. They raised most of the base prices, so in many cases you're going to be paying more for something (even after the discount) than it would have cost a few weeks ago. Everything I considered stocking up on would have cost the same or more than the last price I paid using subscribe and save.
And you do need the amazon chase card to get the discount.

I checked my price book. You're right! With the 20% off coupon, my normal tea order is now only 10 cents cheaper than it was previously via subscribe and save.
They are sneaky. Maybe the appropriate message here is a warning, not to by Amazon subscribe and save products without a 20% off coupon until after the end of the month.

20% off doesn't stack with subscribe and save. :(
Also, to check amazon price histories checkout camelcamelcamel.com.

I've tried out one LED bulb... in my limited experience, they're only useful as spot lighting, so a 40-watt equivalent in a task light makes sense, but you typically won't see big electrical savings because task lighting is usually turned on for a limited time.
Torchiere lighting is probably another use that would work for diffusing the LED bulb, where it's reflecting off a ceiling. I haven't tried that yet, but you probably want a higher wattage bulb.

While I don't see the real appeal of a Kindle, myself, I know others on here like them; Target is closing them out and this week they're 30% off; if any are left, they're slated to go to 50% and finally 70% off, not that any will be left by then. Likewise, Walmart (urg) has been running the Kindle Basic at regular price, plus a $30 gift card.

Target has their summer clearance at 70% off in my store. I found a tupperware-type divided lunch container with lid and utensils for $.89. It was called "divided lunch set" and came in green, red, and blue. I bought 10 so I could prepack our lunches for the week.
They also had 1/2gal igloo beverage pitchers for $4 (like this http://www.amazon.com/Igloo-Legend-Beve ... ords=igloo).
Most of it was in the back of the store with other clearance near the back-to-school section. I did find more near the plastic dishware in the housewares section.

@LiquidSapphire:
my all-time favorite erg mouse:

Logitech TrackMan Wheel

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_83AFVHmx8
have had same one for 5 years, ball pops out when need to clean every year or so; tried the newer ones: never got used to the ambidextrous one, but the remote ones are very nice.
can't believe they no longer sell this original model; should have bought a few more.

I'm going to try this. It's a portable umbrella-style rack (not the regular folding kind). I can put it outside in good weather and inside in bad.
