Has anyone read Surrounded by Idiots and Surrounded by Psychopaths: How to Protect Yourself from Being Manipulated and Exploited in Business (and in Life)?
From the back cover:
Using the same simple four-color system of behavior classification that made Surrounded by Idiots so popular, Surrounded by Psychopaths teaches readers how to deal with psychopaths in their lives by becoming aware of their own behavior and their weaknesses.
The four fold classification is:
ANALYTICAL (blue)
. Slow reaction
· Maximum effort to organize
. Minimal interest in relationships
. Historical time frame
· Cautious action
· Tendency to avoid involvement
STABLE (green)
· Calm reaction
. Maximum effort for connection
· Minimal interest in change
. Current time frame
· Supportive action
· Tendency to reject conflict
DOMINANT (red)
. Quick reaction
. Maximum effort to control
. Minimal interest for caution in
relationships
. Current time frame
. Direct action
. Tendency to avoid involvement
INSPIRING (yellow)
. Rapid reaction
. Maximum effort to involve
. Minimal interest in routine
. Future time frame
· Impulsive action
· Tendency to reject isolation

Re: Surrounded by Idiots and Psychopaths
"Surrounded by Idiots" was a present for one of my colleagues on his farewell party. It's an enjoyable book with nice snippets of insight. I found it useful in helping to understand others.

Re: Surrounded by Idiots and Psychopaths
I've read "Surrounded by Idiots" because I was immediately attracted to the title for some reason
It's a popularization of the DISC-model. DISC stands for dominance/influence/steadiness/conscientiousness which would translate into dominant/inspiring/stable/analytical above. Linking DISC and MBTI is new to me! Writing it out:
Surrouned by Idiots = DISC = MBTI
Red = Dominance = Thinking Extrovert
Yellow = Influence = Feeling Extrovert
Green = Steadiness = Feelin Introvert
Blue = Conscientiousness = Thinking Introvert
In Surrounded by Iditions most people are multiple colors at the same time.
