Milestone; 100% SWR

Post by TheLuckyWizard »

Just hit a nice low milestone the other day and I'm feeling good.

I started about 4 years ago with under €20k of salary and have been pumping most of my free cash flow into educational courses to boost my income. In the last 24 I've managed to do some career magic and had some lucky breaks moving roles and am now at €47k.

I now have a year's expenses under my belt and am in a position to increase this at a significant rate. Roll on FIRE! :D

I will share an incredibly effective and time-tested strategy, introduced to me via Your Money or Your Life:

1) Start
2) Keep going

That's the beauty of lowering your expenses. If you can cut your expenses in half, you'll instantly be at 50% SWR. :D
