Wanted: wood bead car seat cover

Post by George the original one »

You know those beaded car seat covers that pinch your skin while wearing shorts and all the big-city taxicab drivers use, but the rest of us hate? Do you have a used one laying around, taking up space in the closet you never open? Or maybe you sometimes spot one in a flea market or garage sale?

Yes, I'd like it. Only need one. Can be imperfect, but it shouldn't be covered with dried up slime or smell or have been charcoalized. Will pay postage and low item cost (typical retail is $20-30, so I'm not looking to pay much).

I tried the local Goodwill, but none there.

@Ego - yes! Tried replying via PM, but the msgs just sit in the outbox for some reason. PM your email and I'll reply that way.

Hah! I will send it. You can send me a check or money order after it arrives.

Not very intuitively, a PM sitting in your outbox means that the recipient has not opened it, not that there is trouble with delivery. Once they open it, the message will appear under sent messages.
