And after days of deliberation between models (Suface Pro 3, Lenovo Thinkpad Miix 700, Spectre x2, etc.) and versions (QHD or Std.), and 10.1' version or 12.5' version, I chose the 12.5' 4GB T300 Chi. I then found one in "like new" condition with a Dell E Pen, Belkin Case, and all adapters already included, with expited $5 shipping, for a total of $361. I also found/applied for a $400 grant at my school for last-year expenses to help defray the expense. Sweet.
Goodness, this is why I hate shopping. At least I learned a ton about laptops and detachables~ I can't imagine doing any of that in a brick-n-mortar store/sales floor.
