Don't be fooled by the 20% off. They raised most of the base prices, so in many cases you're going to be paying more for something (even after the discount) than it would have cost a few weeks ago. Everything I considered stocking up on would have cost the same or more than the last price I paid using subscribe and save.
And you do need the amazon chase card to get the discount.

I checked my price book. You're right! With the 20% off coupon, my normal tea order is now only 10 cents cheaper than it was previously via subscribe and save.
They are sneaky. Maybe the appropriate message here is a warning, not to by Amazon subscribe and save products without a 20% off coupon until after the end of the month.

stolen from slickdeals... Seems like a decent deal for LED bulbs. Some say the light is quite "cold" or harshly white.

I've tried out one LED bulb... in my limited experience, they're only useful as spot lighting, so a 40-watt equivalent in a task light makes sense, but you typically won't see big electrical savings because task lighting is usually turned on for a limited time.
Torchiere lighting is probably another use that would work for diffusing the LED bulb, where it's reflecting off a ceiling. I haven't tried that yet, but you probably want a higher wattage bulb.

While I don't see the real appeal of a Kindle, myself, I know others on here like them; Target is closing them out and this week they're 30% off; if any are left, they're slated to go to 50% and finally 70% off, not that any will be left by then. Likewise, Walmart (urg) has been running the Kindle Basic at regular price, plus a $30 gift card.

Target has their summer clearance at 70% off in my store. I found a tupperware-type divided lunch container with lid and utensils for $.89. It was called "divided lunch set" and came in green, red, and blue. I bought 10 so I could prepack our lunches for the week.
They also had 1/2gal igloo beverage pitchers for $4 (like this http://www.amazon.com/Igloo-Legend-Beve ... ords=igloo).
Most of it was in the back of the store with other clearance near the back-to-school section. I did find more near the plastic dishware in the housewares section.

@LiquidSapphire:
my all-time favorite erg mouse:
Logitech TrackMan Wheel

have had same one for 5 years, ball pops out when need to clean every year or so; tried the newer ones: never got used to the ambidextrous one, but the remote ones are very nice.
can't believe they no longer sell this original model; should have bought a few more.

I'm going to try this. It's a portable umbrella-style rack (not the regular folding kind). I can put it outside in good weather and inside in bad.

$40 for a preowned Kindle keyboard 3g...
Get the Check for Change Firefox extension (very useful), or Page Monitor Chrome. Select text "currently sold out" then right click and Check for Change.
They will periodically go back in stock as BestBuys across US inventory them... I got 3 for gifts at using this method at this price last week. All were 3g without ads. I got Conditions 4,5,6. The 6 looks new after cleaning. 4 has a few dings but nothing really distracting when reading. 5 somewhere in between.
Really looking forward to giving these out as gifts.

For the outdoorsy types, steepandcheap.com has huge discounts. It's a bit hard to track the site as far as I can tell, so it's a challenge to your self-control, if you're tempted, to check it regularly. Or you can use http://www.gearscan.com/steepandcheap. Items are usually on clearance elsewhere, at a smaller discount, if steep and cheap is featuring them.
Honestly deal-shopping tires me out and I get tired of the fact that outdoor retailers have pretty much turned into clothing shops, but I do know people who have gotten equipment they really like from there.
