Best minimalist way to iron clothing?

Post by TopHatFox »

What's the most minimalist way to iron clothing? Yes, the most minimalist way is to simply not do it. Still, I'm thinking of finding an electric steam-iron and a little ironing board from another student. This idea seems bulky, however.

If I absolutely want wrinkle free clothing, though, how can I do the job done without the bulky gadgets: Ideas?

hang from clothes hanger while still wet, letting clothes dry. not 100% the same as ironing, but very close.

if Zalo thinks about is, ironing is just heat, moisture, and pressure. maybe pressing clothes with a heavy book after hanging them in a steamy room or having them almost dried would work.

If your shower is pretty steamy, you can hang clothes in their while you shower. I've had some success with this.

You could try using the bottom of a hot pot or pan... kinda like old school ironing.

Buy the smallest iron you can find. Iron clothes while damp - no need for steam. No need for an ironing board - put a towel or two on your table.
Iron carefully and enjoy the moment.
