Well, I'm guessing the odds aren't good on this one, due to the proximity to Festivus, but I thought I'd throw it out there. I'll be back in the Chicagoland area visiting family from Dec 14-Dec. 28 so I don't have much flexibility otherwise. But I know there's quite a few folks now in and around Chicago so it'd be nice to have a meetup.
Meetup Saturday December 19th.
Time and location TBD.
Any takers?

I would definitely enjoy an ERE meetup, but I will be out of town the week leading up to and following December 19.

I have an ERE friend IRL that says he would like to go. So that potentially makes 4. Maybe 5-6 with GandK.

If that's to be the size of the crowd, we could hold it at my place unless someone else volunteers something more convenient. I'm a 30m walk away from 54th/Cermak (pink). Easier to reach by car from the South than Chicago proper but a hassle for those coming from the north via brown, purple, yellow, and red.

I would, of course, give you low-ball dealer's offer for the book. Is this meetup on? If I am going to attend, I need to coordinate with holiday visit to one of my sisters who lives in Chicago.

It seems that, as of now, we have 7 that are likely attending. Jacob, Ken, 7wannabe5, inchicago, Miss lonelyhearts, my ERE friend and myself. Possibly 8-9 with GandK.
Jacob- Is this a comfortable size for you to host at your house? Or would you like to try and find another location?
