with 7 available persons, but only by a margin of 1 person (April 19, May 16/17 and June 27/28 have 6 available persons). How about we wait one more week and then pick a date? I think it's best not to wait too long, since at least I cannot guarantee the correctness of my doodle input for a long time.

I live in de north of the Netherlands and have to discuss this with my husband.
We live frugal but we are quite new tot ER.

Despite you are not sure if you can/want to join, maybe you can fill out the doodle and make a comment about it.

I don't know yet what shape the meeting will have and if we bring our partners - kids as well? On one hand it would be nice, on the other side my SO does not know all details I post here... What will the others do and think about bring partners and/or kids?

As it looks now, preference would be 13/14 June, only dxxr can't make it. dxxr, any chance you can reschedule things so 13/14 June would be possible for you as well?

I can still offer my place. My thoughts about a meeting place are:

If we just meet 3 hours, it is most convenient to meet where most people are based.

My place is near Ede, and access by car is good, train and bus take a bit longer.

It seems there are not that many people coming? I can accommodate up to ten without advanced warning, but if there are more people I have to arrange a bit and can accommodate up to 40ish people.

3 hours is going fast if you have a nice time! At least my experience with previous meetups with just a very small group of people, 3 hours went by very fast. And after reading so long I would like to know some of the people at bit better. So I am up for a longer meeting.

Near Ede sounds good to me and I can offer to give a ride from a train station in the western part of the Netherlands.

So far we're with 7, let's see if more will be there by the end of this week. Perhaps mstrax will join us also.

I travel by public transport mostly, so I might take you up on your offer, rube.

I'm looking forward to this meeting While this week I heard my boyfriend sigh "Can't we move somewhere cheap so that I can quit working now?", I think that is mostly due to current stress levels at his work, and he won't be joining us...

I am afraid not. I am abroad that weekend...

So are we settled on June 13/14? That may work really well as it looks like mid-June is going to be my bike trip start date and the Internet strangers/fellow adventurers I'm going with want to leave from Amsterdam.
