Did it happen? How'd it go?

It did happen. It went very well. K of GandK, firefighterjeff, lurker Michelle and her DH, jacob, sshawnn and DW, and Skylar the dog with her nasty, soaking wet tennis ball met up Saturday nite. We ate, drank, and shared stories. We were again reminded how small today's world is through common experience and acquaintances and even mentioned this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Six_Degrees_of_Kevin_Bacon. It was the first meet up involving forum members we have been involved in. It was a positive experience and I hope there are more to come!

I'll just add that the meetup was great just like all other meetups. They're really all very similar. Always a good experience! It's still amazing how much everyone has in common and how easily that fact makes the conversation flow. It's kinda like how you can meet an old friend you haven't seen in ten years and pick it up again right there.
Usually we're helped along by the odd extrovert. This time there weren't any(?), but we managed
PS: As far as I remember, this was the first time people talked about popular TV shows. Uh oh!
