Happy New Year!
1/9 appears to not be a good date. I'll try again in Feb

As much as I'd like to get all the seattle area people together, if we can get a date where at least three of us can agree on, can we call it good and keep in mind that we can always do another later?
With that in mind would Jan 30 work? I don't have any restrictions on place except that staying warmer is usually better for conversation :)

I could hang out on the 30th, perhaps grab a cup of coffee

Coffee on the 30th works for me. The U district would work well for me as I have easy access to the 48 bus line.

If anybody is available to join, we are having a Chinese New Year party Saturday night, February 4th at 7 pm.
My wife has been making traditional style dumplings almost non-stop for the past couple of days, and she is an amazing cook
Send me an email at mrjjac@gmail.com if you are interested, and I'll send you the location details

Alright...let's try this again! I chatted with Jacob about some possible options. I just purchased a bar in Seattle so I was thinking I could host--no pressure to buy anything at all, I promise. Just figured it'd be a nice inviting spot inside since it is a little chilly this time of year.
How about 2pm on Sunday February 27th?
Thoughts?

Definitely Thanks, Jacob.
tlaloc--20 beers on tap. ;) So we should have you covered. Now let's just hope we can get a good group of Northwestern Seattlite Coffee Drinking Oatmeal-Colored-Wool-Sock-Wearing hippies together to talk about bucking the societal norms!

So it's almost upon us--February 27th is this Sunday, we have a total of 3, by my count. Are we still on?

@jacob

Yeah, It was interesting to meet some local people. In the end, we had five of us, plus redsted1 who was in and out of the conversations since he was keeping an eye on running his business :)
I borrowed a copy of your book from redsted1 and made it through the introduction on the bus ride home. I was very impressed so far.
We were thinking it'd be good to do another one in the future. Maybe we can herd all the cats again.

Definitely a good time! Wish I could've been able to be a part of it 110%, but what I was able to partake in was awesome. Really fun meeting with all of you today, we will definitely have to make it a point to do another one at some point in the not-so-distant future.
