I hope you guys figured it out. Good meet-up ideas in general are:
1) Bring a sign that says ERE. Waving around the book also works.

2) Be on [the same] time ... if everybody shows up at random intervals, a group never forms and people leave thinking nobody showed up.

Yeah, we could have planned a more specific location. And we didn't put a sign out until about 4pm.
We did get a group together though: myself, SideStep, SideStep+1, BeyondTheWrap, and Jeremy. Discussion included ERE-friendly socializing, soul-crushing jobs, and graywater collection in the shower. Snacks included gluten-free chips and Argentinian cookies.
We exchanged phone numbers which should make day-of group corralling easier next time.

It's a shame I missed it--my wife and I left after we couldn't find anyone and I couldn't get internet until much later (thanks for the PM, SideStep!).
Hopefully I can make the next one.
