Seeking beta-readers for a new book about early retirement

Post by JakeD »

I welcome feedback from anyone here on the ERE forum who would like to be a beta-reader for my new book “Four Ways To Quit The Rat Race: Choose Your Own Path To Freedom, Independence And The Life You Want”. I'll acknowledge everyone who provides feedback in the book and give you a free copy of the final version too.

The book contains extensive discussion of early retirement, extreme saving, minimalism, unjobbing, passive income and much more that is highly relevant to the community here. If you’d like to hear more about the subject of this book, here is a presentation I gave about it:
https://youtu.be/Zz-dxV8VfPE
A huge amount of research has gone into this book. It contains excerpts from 15 original in-depth interviews with people who have quit the rat race, as well as data from 34 books and 15 websites. I generated 500 pages of background notes. However, I’ve kept the final text short (just 125 pages) and made sure it is easy to read.

UPDATE: I had some brilliant feedback from the people on this discussion board, following the original request I made on this thread. The book is now finished and has just been released: http://getbook.at/jobfree

Just signed up, not realizing that I've actually watched your talk on YouTube before! I feel like it was one of the first things I saw on YouTube when I started searching for ER type information. Good luck, I look forward to reading the book and I hope this goes well for you.

HA!
That is THE video that made me aware of Financial Independence and Early Retirement.
I probably owe you at least a dram of whisky and a place to sleep if you're ever in Copenhagen!
