OK, I've tried getting my college's health insurance to pay for corrective jaw surgery, but it doesn't pre-certify. I then tried MassHealth, but I'm not in the "poor enough" category to qualify.
And so, now I need to either (1) find a job with the appropriate health/dental insurance, or (2) do research and buy my own insurance for surgery and maybe even orthodontics.
Problem is: I have no idea how to do research on nor purchase my own health or dental insurance. So, what are all of the different ways, or at least the best ways, to do that?
How to buy health insurance on our own?

Healthcare.gov
Also, if you are under 26, I think you can still be covered by a parent's plan?

Yes.
Source:
Used parent's insurance to get medicine and doctor's appointment.
EDIT:
However in Olaz/Zalo's position that may not be an option for him.
