It went well! I showed them the excel sample and case study and they seemed imprressed. I sent them thank you e-mails afterwards. They'll get back to me to see of I got the final interview this upcoming week. If I move on, it'll be 2-3 people vying for 1-2 spots.

That said, I've had interviews seem to go really well and still not get anything, so, I suppose we'll see. At least I did my best. : )

This just in: I was offered a second final interview w/ a boutique HNW financial advisory. So that's two 4-hour "Super Day's" to prepare for over the coming two weeks.

Congrats! What will happen on these "Super-days"? Do they test you on some things?

The Kobyashi Maru problem? Hazing rituals? Scientology "auditing" maybe?

All done with the 4 hour long second interview at the investments office. Turns out there's a (brief) third round if I get selected to move on...

Two final interviews done. I think they went really well. Now I wait to hear back for the next two weeks while catching up on school work!

Finished an interview with a third company today, first round. This one is with a really large bank headquartered in the state of NY. Very different from the size and culture of the other two. I think it went really well. Now wondering whether it's best to work in the city, suburbs, or somewhere in between, and what size company is best.

I think it's time to start asking your interviewers what their company and location offer that others don't.

Take this with a barrel of salt, because I have never been in your position. Still; it appears that you have a lot to offer, and you're unsure what's the best move. Time for potential employers to sell themselves to you?
