PSA: I'm cleaning up/deleting accounts that never posted and which haven't been active for 2+ years.

I only hope you aren't getting rid of useless users.

Yikes. Now I feel pressure to post instead of just lurk. Please don't delete my account.

As long as you've logged in any time since 2014-01-01 you would have survived even with 0 posts.

Well ... more like a thousand ... many of whom had interesting websites such as www.get-free-car-loans.co.uk or www.lawnserviceforyou.com, etc.

I need to figure out some better spam controls.

Had to log in I guess. I browse every 2 or 3 days w/o logging in, and only do so to make an occasional post. Post made!

@blackbird - You have more than 0 posts. You're permanently safe. The only accounts who are at risk are those who never posted and who haven't logged in for 2+ years.

Now you've retroactively controverted all the best evidence in my other thread. I suppose these are the strategies they teach "scientists" nowadays!

does Freedom_2018 care to elaborate on this nomadic lifestyle? sounds interesting.

So far nomadic lifestyle has meant:

- 10,000 mile..5 month motorcycle camping trip in the Western US
- 4 trips across the US (few months each trip) to see friends and experience different communities I wouldn't have otherwise considered. Currently a 5 month stint in Appalachian Ohio.
- Made 2 new good couple friends from our travels. People we connect with on deeper shared values and not like "networking friends" while working corporate jobs. Otherwise I've only had a few close friends from undergraduate days.
- Have been to almost all of the lower 48..though truly experiencing them will take a lot longer...hence looking to get a reasonable sized van to increase the range and scope of travel.
- Another pleasant surprise has been that our California friends seem much more eager to see us when we are back in town. Say that we are an inspiration etc to them. It is nice to be wanted.
- Once I have my US Citizenship later this year/early next...want to do some overseas travel...could be a few months or a few years.
- Other pending desires include a recumbent trike ride across the US. Hiking/climbing a few peaks. Getting to know more interesting people.
- Thinking of making a bucket list but sometimes it feels too goal oriented.

cool. brute hopes Freedom_2018 will keep the rubber side down.

brute agrees on the bucket list. every time he checks off an item, it feels like "this isn't at all how brute had imagined it". some have even been accomplished by accident, not noticing it at the time.
