He passed away last Saturday. I don't see any mention of this on the ERE Forum so I thought I'd mention it now, as I just heard about it yesterday.

I hadn't read any of Mollison's work before his passing, but I stumbled on a copy of his Permaculture A Designers Manual book in a charity shop which has been on my shelf and to read list for some time, after learning of his passing I checked out some interviews on youtube, checkout In Grave Danger of Falling Food which summarises his life's mission quite well.
