Vacation ERE-reading

Post by knap82 »

Hi, all

I am planning a 6 weeks long vacation to the
Philippines with my girlfriend and son.

I need your inspiration for
What ERE books to bring?
What book have inspired you the most?

What should I bring for my girlfriend who are keen to read more on ERE/FI ( I have Jacobs book to bring)

Have a great weekend
/Knap

Read and understand in the following order:
ERE
A Guide to the Good Life - William Irvine
The Life Changing Magic of tidying.

ERE is the philosophical groundwork, irvine describes actual practical tools to learn how to cope with adversity and scarcity, Kondo teaches you how to evaluate all the stuff, and your feelings towards your stuff. Kondo's book is kind of cooky though until you realize that she's actually practicing some odd form of stoicism.

Then read Kahnemann's Thinking, Fast and Slow. You will see this book referenced once per week for the rest of your life I think. It's a tremendously important book to have read at some point.
