Does anyone have any experience taking Uber transit in the Chicago area?

How reliable is it? How safe is it?


More specifically, around down town Chicago area, the Cicero area and the Glencoe/Highland Park area (up north).

I have used it and found it very safe, reliable and easy. The shared ride version is a good deal.

I've used Uber hundreds of times in pretty much every major city, with minimal issues. One time a driver was driving dangerously, so I gave him a low rating. I instantly got an email from Uber asking me what happened. After I responded they refunded my fare.
