Culturally Acceptable

Post by Davo1962 »

I'm new to the forums here. I'm finding this forum the most normal of all of them. Seems like it really shows the truth of Jacob's quote below:

"Most people are culturally not ready to accept any alternative means of transportation. Cycling is one such mean. Cycling is competitive in time with any car commute that take 30 minutes. If they are shorter, the bicycle wins. For rides shorter than 5 minutes, walking may be faster." Published on December 1st, 2011

It will take some time, but I do plan to step out of the transportation box.

I agree with Animal. There is no normal...not really.

Do what is appropriate for you in your situation. Just do it consciously and with purpose.
