If you missed his latest post, John Michael Greer of the Archdruid Report will be starting a new blog on the fusion of ecology and religion (ecosophia.net). He says he will be taking down the old blog completely in June.

Just FYI in case anyone wants to reread anything before it disappears into the ether.

@jp, even after being taken down, you can probably still read his old posts through archive.org

@jennypenny - Can you recommend any of your favourite articles relating to ERE?

I enjoy his writing but there is so much content and depth, I'm not sure where to start.

I normally love all of team Ritholtz blogs, I think their guys are great.
I find that recently they have been cheerleading the market a lot though.

Most blatant example:

http://theirrelevantinvestor.com/2017/0 ... ck-bubble/

Batnick speaks about how stocks did in Japan during the bubble, as if to say "yeah stocks are high today but can go even higher" (or at least this is what I understood as the meaning of the post).

The.. uh.. minor detail he forgets to mention is that from 1989 to today, Japanese stocks have returned (excluding dividends, to be fair) an impressive -50% in nominal terms approximately.

I like ritzholtz but you can tell he's a liberal and as an evil conservative; I find fault with many of his posts. for instance, he currently has a post up about wind energy and he favors it because he's a warmist even though you would have to bankrupt the country to use wind to power it.

I also recommend real investment advice, which is Houston advisor lance Roberts site, I figured out he's a trend/MA advisor; but he has great articles he posts.

and slope of hope, tim knight is a professional short trader; but his site covers all sorts of things.

Just added http://www.interfluidity.com/ to my "economics" blog feed reader. Lots of musings and he also aggregates other good links in posts. Lots of little quotable nuggets. (probably just added https://mathbabe.org to my list after finding it linked here: Wealth is about insurance much more than it is about consumption.)

Also, follow blog writers on twitter for shorter musings or links.

Lots of thoughts after going through some of the posts archived at interfluidity..

I too am a huge fan of interfluidity. He is very measured in his opinions and an eloquent writer. He updates very rarely these days, though. I could be wrong, but I also think his politics might rub against the prevailing mood of most people in this forum.
