A few years away from Early Retirement

Post by seanmerron »

Hey everyone!

Not sure how it took me this long to find this forum but it seems to be full of people with similar ideals of me and I'm glad to be here.

In a nutshell: We took our family of 4 from a 2500 sq. ft. 4-bedroom house with BMWs to an 845 sq. ft 2-bedroom apartment with 1 vehicle and 2 bikes, left the credit system and have been building our investment portfolio to retire in ~5 years from now. We're now coasting on autopilot, wrote a book about it and living every day trying to find ways to speed up that target date.

Looking forward to not only learning from you all but also to shed my knowledge with more hopefuls in the process.

Cheers!

May I ask how your investment strategy look like? Currently I have a lot of cash on the side in order to wait for a good time to invest. I think that the global equity prices, such as the US indices are a bit overpriced. How do you think about the US equity prices from an US perspektive?
