Hi everyone!

My name is Linna - I'm a 3rd year, Canadian university student and I'm intrigued by the ERE philosophy. Are there journalers or other students here who started their FI journey before graduating?

Also, any advice on how to get the family started on ERE would really help - both my parents are entrepreneurs (so income is pretty rocky) in 2 very specialized fields, and neither of them view debt as much of a problem. I wouldn't be totally satisfied achieving FI on my own without supporting my family to do that too.

Hi Linna, welcome to the forum.
I think it is very good to start as early as possible with ERE. You can learn a lot about the experiences (and mistakes) of other people. If you learn from them you could achieve ERE. Regarding your family. It was very important for myself to know why I want to achieve ERE. It has to be authentic. Then it was easy to talk to my family, because I could easily speak about my deeper motivation and values. Hope that helps a bit.
