   Hello all,

   Do any of you know of blogs that cover the daily living of a retired person? There are lots of retirement blogs out there, but I can't seem to find what I want, perhaps because it might seem boring to most people: I'd like to read what retired people do all day, in detail. Even hour-by-hour. Maybe a retired novelist's blog? I'm not sure if I want to read such things because I want to live vicariously through them or to help me imagine what my days can be like post-job--probably both. Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

   Definitely not mine (I hate writing diaries or talking about "what I've done lately")...

   I think my life will basically be described by the following four states:

   1) Building systems that are interesting to me AND getting paid for it.
   2) Building systems that are interesting to me AND NOT getting paid for it.
   3) Building systems that are NOT or no longer interesting to me AND getting paid for it.
   4) Building systems that are NOT or no longer interesting to me AND NOT getting paid for it.

   Here (4) has never really happened. And since I became FI, (3) doesn't happen anymore. Nothing worse being stuck having to think about things that are no longer exciting.

   I predict (1) and (2) will happen interchangeably henceforth. I mean, even if I'm dragged onto some exotic travel location or whatever, I still do either (1) or (2) because they're more fun to me [than seeing museums, palm trees, restaurant menus, penguins, family, etc.].

   So, each day pretty much looks like this:

   Get up. Do (1) or (2). Eat dinner. Do (1) or (2). Sleep.

    There's the Field Lab - a 50 year old that retired to the west texas desert. The writer leads a pretty simple life but details every day if that's what you're looking for.

    Thanks everyone. I appreciate your responses and there's good stuff there. I'm still looking for daily logs; perhaps a retired blogger whose hobby is time management.
