Hi, I am a 25 year old Aussie guy looking to be financially free at 30. I also eat Paleo, which is very expensive but necessary for health. I am working on reducing my expenses but since I have never had much of a consumer mindset its not too hard.

A little backstory. I started honours for my B.A. a few years ago (comparable to the coursework component of a PhD in the US) and ended up very sick and dropped out of uni and did nothing for a while. I found out I had an immune problem. I then when back to uni to study math because I had nothing better to do but dropped out almost a year ago because I wasn't really interested. Since then I've worked a number of jobs sort of trying to get back on the Way but have not been really interested in it.
ERE suits me perfectly. When I turn 30 I want to have a boat and live in the bahamas.

EDIT: BTW my personality type is INTP though it probably at times goes INFP when I get artistic.

Why the Bahamas? You are a short, cheap Air Asia flight away from destinations where you can live well (eat out all meals, have a maid, etc) for $800 per month. The Bahamas are hella-expensive.

Check out this guy's site: http://www.nomad4ever.com/ He is young retired German and living well off dividend producing stocks and some rental income, constantly traveling through India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and Malaysia.

After Jacob's post (repost) about personality types I am definitely an idealist and I am starting to wonder if I am INFP not INTP. Thats the problem with self testing, too easily skewed by other's perception of you (in my case, smartest person in class so I obviously had to be a thinker).
