Re: Optimal PC experience

I am rather noobie in this field, so it's more about "use X as disc cloner". Do you have any recommendation? How to make your method valid if my "win installation with drivers" is estimated to be 20 GB (on 200GB HDD) and then I want to it be copied to some other disc (like one ISO file or anything l...

Optimal PC experience

There is theory, that PCs are faster and faster, but the bloated software makes them slower anyway  One more time, I experienced that fact. 0. I use Win7 (due to some properitary software). 1. What's yours minimalist software package? I think I suitable with Win7+drivers (hey, the newer version...

Re: YT alternative/best win screen recorder/recruitment "hacks"

Ohh... So Sthahlmann is studying mechanical engineering. This explains everything. I'm starting a new project today called "Sexy times for Stahlmann". I'm serious. I promise you that if you do and learn the things I suggest, you'll eventually be getting laid enough that paying for sex will start to...

YT alternative/best win screen recorder/recruitment "hacks"

I heard there is tactic where you create videos of yourself or skills you own "during"/before recruitment process (especially when you don't have so much "real world" experience). As an engineer, I find it fairly amusing. I want to use it/give try. Especially, if I want to apply abroad (Stahlmanns s...

Re: Tools of Titans by Tim Ferriss *dives behind cover*

I will give me opinion on him based on "4-HW". I think he hasn't changed since. He gave me this perspective of "being smart", but from my personal point of view he sometimes crossed line of being moral/ethical/sensible/opportunistic (you need to feel it, I can't explain it). Throwing away oponent in...

Satiety and energy crashes on different diet models in specific case

Well... Most people there should or want to follow high-carb diet (due to price of staples and ability to not own big freezer, etc. and system stuff). At the moment, I am rather proponent of MC HF LP. I try to emulate LCHF, but carbs are very tempting. Below I use percentage as energy intake After m...

Correct the link :P I managed to visit the main site, pretty wide of topics are there covered (they do not correlate, ERE is the blog I spend the most time recently so I am bit surprised). But I still don't know to what you are referencing. Anyway, as it was said many times. Being able to save most ...

Re: Small business ownership

Hmm.

I will join this topic. Once I heard about businesses (which probably are in area of "small businesses") where "the manager" is not in charge for antything, he can delegate everything to other people. In what direction should I go if I want to know more about it?

Re: minimalist wardrobe

Weeee!!! I bought chinos for about 30-50% of monetary value compared to the mall solution. I am so happy, becuase they are dark. Waiting for them to "appear" was a bit boring. Not so extreme (yet) as: What do I do? I would get underwear and socks new, but everything I would get used. Start with free...

Re: How to Dive the Barrier Reef for Cheap

New ideas I stumbled upon: If you are far away from your "housing", let your friends/family rent it to somebody (I hope that your personal stuff in home country doesn't hold you back from this!). If you travel "millennial"-style (I hope you didn't paid for package holiday :D ), take a hustle in the ...

Re: Want to fight climate change? Have fewer children

Somebody needs to keep the system working that's, like, Stahlmann's opinion, man I think that (for example) self-breeding for read meat would be time consuming, so it's better that some people stay in workforce and provide cheap products due to industralization. With the lentils is the same  !...

Re: Want to fight climate change? Have fewer children

Stop having white babies so we can justify brown people replacing you on your own homeland. On system level I think that "west" (from North America, West Europe, Australia, NZ) people got very, very, very lazy in terms of having children after development of hormonal contraception in 70'... Re: Personal quality and satisfaction of life compared to "best in class"-countries

I am studying many indeces about quality and satisfaction of life, e.g.: - Quality of life in EU - OECD BetterLife - Happy Planet Index - Numbeo.com Quality of Life - Social Progress Index - World Happiness Report Many times Nordic countries from Europe are on the top and are "best in class", as we...

Re: How to quit coffee?

Try this [in terms of behaviour change]: http://www.behaviorwizard.org/wp/ I think the best way to quit coffee is to substitute it with morning exercises [the same rush, but better in terms of web of goals]. I know that not everybody can allow yourself this 1h of 'being unproductive' in the morning,...

How do you "care" about your money?

There was the topic about where the money resides/is altogether. How about the way you secure "it". I mean in every developed country there is the rule which says that you can receive your money back from your savings account up to some value (but what if one of major baks collapse  ). But then...

Re: If you could go back/forward and give your 21, 29, 45, and 77 year old selves a book, then what would it be?

@Stahlmann I read "Difficult Conversations" recently. I recommend it. If you have to interact with people, but find emotional drama cumbersome, this book teaches you a good approach to handle that. I kind of make a game of it. Like, can I use these tools to chill someone out who has it in for me. ....

Interesting topic on "example level". I wanted to start it on different "fancy hobbies". My "solutions": 1. Pay for it. ERE is not only about sacrifices. In this category you should also consider: grouping your fee (I mean we have something like collectible buy of the service in my country), doing i...

@scriptbunny Why should the government be better at meeting your needs than the free market? Because "free market" is as free as "its owners" decide it to be  Believing in always grining CEOs from ads and their "world of opportunity" is pretty naive. It doesn't matter anyway, any job place can...
