I check the markets frequently, but I only check my accounts when the market is up.

I had luck in reducing migraines many years ago by eating kelp.

For me, the first month of retirement was more like a vacation. It took 3 or 4 months to really hit me.

Also a vegan. DH is giving it a go. We take supplements.

I also participated in a defined benefit pension plan. Though I was never in the position to "pay back" for lost service, those colleagues who could always found it to their advantage. They were only hampered by their lack of cash!
