I'd recommend Air Force over Army. The ASVAB scores required to get in the Army are lower, and it really tends to show in bootcamp, making it even less fun for nerdy introverted types.

Hard to win when, on average, you're only matching inflation on top of averaging 1%/year in repairs, 2%+/year in property taxes. That's at least 3% out the window before considering inflation and looking for real returns on a non-productive asset...

I watched a documentary about Global Cooling occurring before the actual warming, because of the warming melting the ice caps. Is this a real possibility? It pops in my head every time someone says "why was this winter so cold? GW is fake!"
