Re: Smelly Swiss Dilettante

I made a lot of different song.
I even had a gig Idea, which I would know how to sell, and for which I see the value it has for other humans.

Re: Full time RV-ing as a snowbird?

I have a peugeot 806, and I sometime think it's too big.
If you're single, I really don't see any reason to have anything bigger than a car.

Re: What is Minimum Head Tax and/or Price of Liberty?

My house costs me 2000 a year in tax+insurance+interest. But should one had the opportunity cost of what i could earn if i where to sell the house and invest the money elsewhere? As i rent it, it provides me an address, storing space and 750 (minus 200) a month but about 2 years of salary are immobi...

Re: European Union

I'de choose vorarlberg. Nice Mountains, nice Lakes, cheap gas, cheap grocery, you could find a high paying job in nearby switzerland or liechtenstein. And austria healthcare is good and relatively cheap. Black forest is not as nice, forest managment there sometimes sucks (hunting reserve and tree mo...

Re: Let's find Z a nice room to live in? #motivationthread

Never, but I had minus 15°C this winter, and camped by minus 30°C a few years earlier.
At minus 30°C, i had a good sleeping bag.
But for minus 15°C a duvet was enough.

Re: Let's find Z a nice room to live in? #motivationthread

I don't remember if you lived in a van before. But for guests, you can take them to places around white plains, and cook outside there. I don't know the area at all. But from google map, it looks like you might have plenty of nice place within a few miles range. This solves the cloth problem. But an...

iNtP

My I is weak and I tested as an ENTP earlier.
T is kind of weak.

N and P are very clear.

So It seems to be common to oscillate between INTP and ENTP.

Yes, thinking that i have to make music seems to help a lot. I produced one tune a day for the last days. Having responsabilities seems key.

Re: What to do when FI

I don't even want to want. I need to need. I needed to finish degree and special forces selection process in order not to loose face in front of myself. Signing up for it didn't requir a lot of motivation. I still do some music. I will do more. I don't want fame, I just want to point at the truth in...

Re: What to do when FI

I allready do some music. It's the only thing i produce. I don't need idea. I have ton of them. I need a purpose in order to want to carry on things when they stop being pleasant. I graduated because i wanted to proof that i was good enough. I did this special force thing for the same reason. But no...

Re: What to do when FI

I'm still there, I still haven't found what to do with my time. I'm getting unatractive to my SO because I have to much free time. I only come up with project that are too ambitious for me (getting elected as president, write an opera). Even smaller thing, like starting a day-care, or writting a boo...

Re: thoughts on unicycles?

I thought about it because even a folding bike is unpractical to carry in my car. I don't see any advantges over a scooter or a skate or running. But why is brute saying that bike are too high a maintenance? In many setting, you're as faster than with a car or public transportations, and for long di...

Re: Non-Normative Life Paths? How to do something no one has ever done before?

One motivation for traveling was to do more original things than other people, and of course, you meet people doing similar things, and it stops to seem original enough. It never ends, and at some point you have to carry heavy fire arms to protect yourself while hiking, but you still feel like your ...

Re: underwear addiction

It's not about the smell. It's about hitching. Probably, there is some friction and micro wounds in the area, and all the salt from my sweating back accumulates here after it flew trough my ass and pick up what I wasn't able to clean after pooping (not much i assume, but still). I would like to know...

underwear addiction

I reduced my needs a lot, but i still need to change my underpants every 40km. Human always walked, but haven't always worn clean underwear. If i don't, it starts to hurt. I feel like a degenerate panty-addict. Do you have any solution. When the sun shines, i can just clean yesterday's underwear and...
