Re: Smelly Swiss Dilettante

it's all done, there are only two exam days (theory and shooting). I'll start with boar in august, then elk and chamois in september, 'I'll pass on roe deer to go for ducks in october and november, and then boar again when there is full moon or snow, duck otherwhise. Re: On-the-go Meal Prep Kit for maximizing grocery stores as an alternative to fastfood/restaurants?

scissors are great. You can really take them on a plane? Scissors are basically two bad knives, where 1 of them serves as a cutting board. A very good knife like a mora 511 can be bought for 5 dollars.
I think knife always coming on top is due to them being possibly the oldest tool crafted by humans.

Re: On-the-go Meal Prep Kit for maximizing grocery stores as an alternative to fastfood/restaurants?

in decroissant order of importance
knife
spork
thermos
pot
stove
cutting board
At which point you can nearly cook anything anywhere.
When travelling, a difficulty is to know what to buy.
example, in the us, don't buy bread, but tortillas.

Re: Smelly Swiss Dilettante

Ernst Scribler visited me. We walked around the city, and the day after, we biked (and pushed bike) toward my house. He seemed impressed by the scenery, i was a bit ashamed by how squeequie my bike chain was. I greased it, after a quick brush, and now it's silent enough for me to ear the unevenness ...

Re: What do you do for work?

@chenda When you answer rentier or rentière, most french people will assume that you were born with a passive income. I usually say I'm a mover, because altough I only work like one day a month, this is actually what I do for work. Before I had this job, i usually said that I bought a house when I w...

Re: Smelly Swiss Dilettante

i went hiking in france again. I only go for a few day at a time, so it's quite an expensive hobby, train fares are around 50 chf each way. I think I wont go back hiking in france unless it's for a longer stretch of time, or if i hve something else to do in the area. On my water divide hike, i've hi...

it's really nice, but i wouldn't draw attention to it, because if too many people do it, it might get nerfed. Something similar can be done in switzerland, but as their are no night trains, you wild camp in rural location. Those strategy work well with interrail too. Interrail is cheaper, but doesn'...
