<t>Strangely appropriate timing. <br/> I am in western Washington as well and am a first time home buyer. I'm actually in the process of making a bid on a HUD home, have you had any experiences or insigths with HUD? If so, I'd love to hear.<br/> The wrinkle in this is that my wife and I will be maki...

<t>@AlexOliver<br/> I hope I might be able to provide a slightly different perspective. When I headed off to college, I had a decent understanding of the cost, but not to the degree I thought. I graduated with just over 40k in loans, but I took great care to make sure that I graduated in three years...

<r>Surio,<br/> I've been listening to the Massey lectures during my commute. Thanks for the links. I have been absolutely enthralled. At the end of one of the lectures (can't remember which), I almost cried out of having my mind so blown. None of the meta/worldview/abstract-ideas talked about are pa...

Coffee on the 30th works for me. The U district would work well for me as I have easy access to the 48 bus line.

<r>I thought about changing "cool" to "awesome," just for added effect <E>:)</E><br/> I did not realize this was a mainstream "design language" (or whatever one might call it) for the interior. The first thing I thought was zombie attack, but whatever <E>:D</E><br/> Enjoy: <URL url="http://imgur.com/a/tESq5/m...

<r>As much as I'd like to get all the seattle area people together, if we can get a date where at least three of us can agree on, can we call it good and keep in mind that we can always do another later?<br/> With that in mind would Jan 30 work? This idleness will not be doing *nothing,* but instead pursuing things that interest me without respect to compensation. Put another way, ...

+1 for an inspiring read. It's not really a step by step type of deal, but more along the lines of something where you read a few pages and think about things for a while (i.e. meditate on it). I might have to add this to the list of things to check out from the library again...
