Re: Trump - Clown Genius

I can't believe anyone is still talking about this. Funny, I look at it the other way around. If someone, regardless of party affiliation, is NOT bothered by the fact that the Russian government likely influenced the results of the election then there is something wrong with that person. If someone...

Van life article in The New Yorker. Actually more like a #vanlife article, but interesting nontheless.

Re: Trump - Clown Genius

We don't have the evidence itself, but that fact says a lot. The way people react to news regarding Trump truly is a Rorschach test. Rorschach indeed. https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/fbi-obtained-fisa-warrant-to-monitor-former-trump-adviser-carter-page/2017/04/11/620192ea-1e0...

The free version of Nitro Reader allows you to sign a document with a picture of your actual signature then re-save it as a pdf and send. The recipient cannot tell the difference.

Re: Trump - Clown Genius

Oh man, that made me laugh out loud. Probably probable. I was still asleep. Yes, a judge looked at the evidence and decided that a reasonable person would conclude that the president's foreign policy advisor was working as a foreign agent. We don't have the evidence itself, but that fact says a lot.

Re: Trump - Clown Genius

A court ordered FISA warrant was issued. That requires probably cause. In this case, probably cause that Page was "acting as an agent of a foreign power".

a rolling catastrophe of a vehicle hey now. it runs. except when it doesn't. Since writing that I read your conversion posts, especially the 8-track post, and felt bad about my rolling catastrophe comment. And Tools, that was particularly good. Zero experience, but my favorite writer did a story in GQ on it that is hilarious. http://www.gq.com/story/sugar-daddies-explained If you ask her if this is prostitution—I never once did with the women I interviewed; every time, they brought it up—she'll say the question is moot. “I'm kind of pragma...

1USD= 64.47INR

So, Amazon Prime in India costs 99INR = $1.56? The cell phone plan costs $4.79 for 84 days of service or $20.81 annually? Wow

Re: Not applying analysis in one domain to your actions in another

Would any of you like to discuss 1) in a self-critical way, do you see yourself doing this in any area? Are you passionate about thinking clearly and analytically about one thing but then think impulsively, or incoherently, or generically, in another area which could benefit from the same kind of a...

Chad, the funniest part is that my grandmother's people where all extremely modest (in every sense) coal miners. Modest. Hard to believe, I know. ;) Most of the lines dried up four generations back but this one just kept going and going and going. The non-Mormon people I know who are obsessed with i...

The whole impetus for this thread was the fact that yesterday at the swap meet I bought this 1988 Diamondback Assent MTB for $20 from a couple who trash picked it. http://vwvagabonds.com/SomethingFromNothing6.jpg It is very similar to yours. The bottom bracket seems sound. Both derailleurs were sei...
